later that night, the fire was still burning inside one of the trees, it looked really cool.

We had a little bit of a scare earlier this month. Someone started a fire in the eucalyptus trees that are across the street from our house! I was a little freaked, but they got it under control pretty quickly. Here are some of the shots that I got.

This is the house we rented. It was really cool. We liked the window seat in the living room, we are going to do the same thing in our house when we re-model.
We didn't have a clear view of the ocean, but we were close enough to hear the waves crashing on the shore.

My family and I went to Irish Beach for my parents 28th anniversary. I loved it! It was a nice relaxing two days. The coast is so beautiful up there, I hope that we can go again sometime soon. When we first got there, it was still sunny and not too cold. We only got to go to the beach that first night because it rained the rest of our time there. It was still really nice, I am glad we got to spend that time together as a family.

the little white blob in the middle of this pic is a very small jellyfish.

It was so cool going through the redwood forest . This picture makes me think of that scene from "Return of the Jedi" , when they rode the speeder bikes.
